The International Red Brangus Breeders Association (IRBBA) represents breeders dedicated to producing high-quality Red Brangus cattle. Our members are committed to advancing the Red Brangus breed and providing sustainable beef cattle unmatched in performance and quality.
Our History
The IRBBA was established in 1991 as an organization focused solely on promoting the Red Brangus breed. In 2005, we became an affiliate association of the International Brangus Breeders Association (IBBA). This allowed us to leverage the infrastructure of the IBBA while maintaining our mission of serving Red Brangus breeders.
Our Breed
Red Brangus cattle originate from crossing Brahman bulls with Angus cows, combining the hardy characteristics of Brahmans with the superior beef qualities of Angus. They exhibit hybrid vigor, resulting in cattle well-adapted to tropical climates yet producing tender, flavorful beef.
