Over the years, from one generation to the next, we have placed the highest priority on breeding performance-oriented livestock, ensuring that our livestock can adapt and perform well in all climates and terrains. To elevate our program to the next level, over the past five years we have made a concerted effort to also produce MBJ Elite competition animals.

Our MBJ Performance and MBJ Elite genetics will meet almost all objectives, from breeding bulls for the commercial rancher to registered replacement heifers to competition animals.

We select our main herd based on the following selection criteria: Female fertility, calving intervals and average weaning weights. By selecting for reproductive efficiency, we established our program with problem-free females. From this solid foundation, we improve our performance curves with each generation without sacrificing balance.

The majority of our MBJ animals have been produced through our artificial insemination and embryo transfer program. MBJ donors have generations of descendants in our registered stud farm; and you will find their genetics behind many of the best Red Brangus studs in the United States, Mexico and throughout the Brangus world. With MBJ genetics, you will find a wide variety of pedigrees that will enhance your program with new bloodlines and guaranteed productivity.

A key aspect of our approach to developing our genetics has been the identification and inclusion of bloodlines from across the breed that we believe will complement and enhance our cattle. We select and acquire genetics from many respected USA herds. Such as Sureway Farms, Cox Excalibur, TRIO Cattle & Genetics, Dos XX, BKC, Triangle K, Fagan Ranch, - Red Brangus, Markham Cattle, McDonald Ranches, Buffaloe Cattle, Oak Creek, Triple JR, Broken A Ranch and others. We are always looking for superior genetics that complement our program.

We are proud to say that our program is one of the largest owners of the Sureway line. The maternal ability of the MBJ and Sureway bloodlines combined with the genetics of CX, TRIO and the aforementioned brands gives us the experience and confidence to guarantee results for our clients.

The pioneering spirit of my ancestors gives me the responsibility to continue in their footsteps with hard work and integrity.
