DOS XX's CATTLE COMPANY

Dos XX’s Cattle Company, located in Brenham TX., has been raising Red Brangus Cattle for over 22 years.  We started by purchasing a heifer for our oldest son to show in the junior program, which led to our children winning 7 National Champion Female titles in the 10 years of participation.  Today we still show cattle in the open shows.  For the past 11 years we have won National Champion or Reserve National Champion each year in either the IRBBA or ARBA shows.

We are not the largest breeder in the breed, approximately 50 cows.  We have used artificial insemination extensively for many years and embryo transfer for the past four years to put top genetics in our herd.  Our senior herd sire, Dos XX’s Transformer’s Mr. Stout 53/3, was not only the National Champion Bull in 2004, he is presently the highest performing bull in the breed with an adjusted 205 day weaning weight of 821 lbs. and an adjusted yearling weight of 1,462 lbs.

Our program is centered around sound, functional females who can make their living off grass and produce heavy weaning calves every year.  We grow our commercial bulls on grass with a self-limiting feed ration to ensure they are sound and ready to go to work for our customers.  We have been fortunate to market our cattle into several states as well as Mexico, Puerto Rico and Honduras and semen into several other countries.

We invite you to call or come by and take a look at our selection of purebred and commercial bulls, bred and open females, semen or embryos.

“Not the largest, Just one of the Best”
